As mentioned before we do other things besides golf here at The Household. One of the things Offspring #2 has been doing almost as long as she has been playing golf, is Irish Step dancing. You know, Riverdance. Lord of the Dance. That kind of dancing. Which means this time of year we are very busy here in The Household, but not with golf. The first dance performances were Thursday night. More on Friday night. A parade on Saturday morning and performances the rest of the day and into the night. Performances today, and tomorrow we start at 7am ( dancing on a local TV station's morning show ) and end around 9pm. If you are an Irish dancer it pretty much goes without saying that you take St. Pat's day off from school each year, and spend your days on your toes. Lots of dancing. LOTS of driving. But we have a great time. And we know every Irish pub within a 50 miles radius of home, which knowledge comes in handy the rest of the year. And tonight the extended family gathered for corned beef, cabbage ( and the recipe here in The Household makes some good cabbage, believe it or not ), and lots of Guinness. So we are primed and ready to go tomorrow.
Whether you've got any blarney in you or not, may the luck of the Irish be with you tomorrow. And be sure and stop by the 19th hole and tip back a Guinness or two.
Beannachtam na Femle Padraig!
